LATIN AMERICAN SCHOOL OF MISSIOLOGY (EMLA)

The Latin American School of Missiology (Escuela Misiologica Latinoamericana) is the training arm of NEWMA/AMEN Mission. EMLA offers a Bachelor’s degree in Missiology with accreditation through World Link University, an international network of missionary preparation institutions. The academic program consists of 42 courses, specializing in missions,communications, anthropology, theology, Bible and ministry, among others. These are covered in three cycles over a four-year period. The curriculum is based upon a model of 50% theory and 50% practicum. All the graduates have finished 10 months of practicum in diverse regions of Peru.

To achieve the greatest possible effectiveness in ministry, the EMLA has satellite schools in the providences of Peru; Trujillo, Ucayali for the Shipibo tribes people, Conibos, Pucallpa, Cajatambo, Arequipa, Ambo-Huanuco and Ayaviri-Puno. There is also an EMLA school in London England and Paris France.

To date, over 7000 individuals have trained for missions at theLatin American School of Missiology. In 2005, 48 new graduates were conferred the degree of Bachelors of Missiology. Here is your opportunity to participate actively in missions. The Latin American School of Missiology offers a bachelor's degree (BA) in Missiology, recognized in different faculties around the world.

EMLA will prepare you in cross-cultural missions and will give you opportunities to participate in cross-cultural activities.
